Maple displays several distinctive grain patterns including knotty maple and rare bird’s eye maple. Treasured by furniture and cabinet makers, the fine texture of maple lends itself well to both traditional and contemporary style. Maple is a higher grade of wood cabinets as compared to birch which will give you the luxurious feel of a high dollar cabinet with a budget friendly expense.
Birch Wood Cabinets
Another species of wood cabinets we offer is birch. Birch is a pale wood that usually casts a yellowish hue. Birch wood exhibits a straight and uniform grain but wavy curls in the grain are not unheard of. Birch contains graining that will appear darker depending on the stain used. Mineral streaks in birch wood will appear darker with certain stain colors. Birch is also a durable hardwood with high tensile strength rating and holds nails and screws well to ensure longevity through the frequent opening and closing of cabinet doors.
